At-Home Resources for Families

At-Home Resources for Families

We know how challenging it’s been to adapt to the disruptions in daily life and routine caused by COVID-19. We’re here to help.

This page is a resource for all Bancroft families — whether you’re trying to help your loved one acclimate at home while day programs and schools or closed, or you’re curious about how we are spending our days and staying engaged inside Bancroft group homes.

From resources shared by the Therapeutic Activities Specialists who work in Bancroft’s Adult Day Programs, to videos shared by our teachers and photos shared by staff – check this page often for new tools and information you can use!

Schedule a Virtual Visit with Your Loved One

With new visitation protocols in effect, you can still check in with your loved one through a phone or video chat – and we’re encouraging you to do so. Program Managers can help you with this process. Bancroft staff are using Google Hangouts Meet to facilitate video calls. This is a free, online video conferencing tool available through the Google Suite applications. You do not need a Gmail account to join a Google Meet video call.
